NEW LOOK – SIGNS, LIGHTS, GARDEN, PAINT

Volunteers cleared off the grass area in front.  All the old sign posts and overgrown shrubs were taken out, and the salvaged bushes were planted and mulched by the back fence.  The old sign was repainted with our new name NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN CHURCH.  Great new sign posts, set in concrete, now display our new sign, with room for our renters’ and our neighbors’ signs.  The mailboxes were moved to the south of our building. The outdoor lights are now all installed and working for night-time safety. Also, the hallway entrances have a fresh coat of paint.

Mail boxes have a new location

It’s just a stick garden now, but with God’s blessing, next spring it will bloom.

We have had a very busy month. We still need to tidy up a few things outside, but the big projects are done until spring. We had a great bunch of volunteers helping with it all and really appreciate all their efforts. Next spring we plan to do some beautification projects by the new sign and around the building. We have some indoor fixing, painting and cleaning projects coming up soon. If you have ideas, please share them with us and join in the effort. It’s a great way to take ownership of our building. And we need all the help we can get.

The door gets a face lift. The walls and deck are next.

We need more volunteers to help clean the church. When we have at least 3 helpers, it only takes one or two hours. Then we go out for lunch and have a good fellowship time. Please come join us. 


You really shouldn't let us have all the fun.
